General Questions

What do you actually do?

I work with MarTech SaaS founders as a Strategic Advisor — helping them understand why their product is not gaining the traction they expected with agencies and practitioners, and what to do about it. That may involve go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, product adoption analysis, or a combination depending on what the situation actually calls for. I start by understanding what is really happening before recommending anything.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

I work primarily with MarTech SaaS founders and executives — companies that build marketing software and sell to agencies, consultants, and marketing practitioners. The common thread is that they have a real product but are not getting the traction they expected, and they want someone with inside experience on both sides of the MarTech equation to help them figure out why.

How do I get started?

The best first step is a conversation. Contact me and share a little about your business, your current situation, and what you are trying to improve. If it looks like I may be a good fit, I will let you know the best next step.

Is there a commitment required?

No. The first conversation is simply a conversation. There is no pressure, no commitment, and no obligation. I want to understand your situation before either of us decides whether working together makes sense.

How I Work

How does the process work?

Every engagement starts with understanding the business before recommending anything. I look at how customers find you, how leads are handled, how sales happen, and how technology is being used. From there, I identify what matters most, prioritize the opportunities, and deliver a practical recommendation. Depending on the engagement, I may continue as an ongoing advisor.

Do I have to commit to anything on the first conversation?

No. The first conversation is about understanding your situation. I will ask questions, listen carefully, and share my initial perspective. If it looks like I can help, I will tell you what I think the best next step is. There is no pressure and no obligation.

What does a recommendation look like?

A recommendation may be a strategic direction, a technology decision, a process change, a plan for how to move forward, or a combination of moves designed around the business. It is grounded in what the business actually needs — not a preset answer or a package I was going to sell you regardless of the situation.

Do you offer standalone services like SEO or ads?

I recommend what the situation actually calls for. Sometimes that includes specific marketing services like SEO or advertising. Sometimes it does not. I do not begin with a service to sell — I begin with a business to understand.

SCOPE

What I Don't Do

Do you manage campaigns, run ads, or build websites?

My primary role is strategic advisory — helping you understand what should happen and why, then advising on how to move it forward. For execution work, I can help you think through what to build, who to involve, and what to watch for. I do not typically serve as the hands-on implementer.

Do you offer SEO, social media management, or content creation?

These may be part of a recommendation depending on what the situation calls for. But I do not offer them as standalone services disconnected from a broader strategic picture. If those services are the right answer for your business, I will tell you — and help you think through how to approach them.

Are you an agency?

No. I am an individual Strategic Advisor. I do not have a team of account managers, project managers, or production staff. What I offer is direct, personal advisory — my perspective, my experience, and my attention on your business.

What if I need someone to actually do the work?

I can help you think through what needs to be done, how to prioritize it, and what to look for in the people or vendors who will execute it. In some cases, I may be able to refer you to the right resources. My role is to help you make better decisions — including decisions about who does the work.

SYS

Systems & Technology

What kinds of systems do you work with?

I have experience across CRM platforms, marketing automation, email systems, lead generation tools, landing page builders, analytics platforms, AI tools, and a wide range of marketing technology. I do not specialize in one platform — I help you evaluate what makes sense for your specific situation.

What if I already have systems in place?

That is actually a common starting point. Many businesses have tools they are not fully using, systems that are not connected, or technology that is creating complexity instead of clarity. I can help you evaluate what you have, what is working, what is not, and what should change.

Do I need to be technical to work with you?

No. My job is to translate the technical landscape into practical business terms. You do not need to understand the tools — you need to understand what they can do for your business and whether they are worth the investment.

Who owns the systems and assets that are built?

You do. Any systems, assets, or processes developed as part of our work belong to your business. My goal is to help you build things that create lasting value — not to create dependency on me.
