I started creating these marketing blueprints in 2015 out of my own necessity. At the time, I was building marketing campaigns for clients and I needed a way to clearly explain what I was going to build for them and how it all worked together. I loved this process so much that I started a small community on Facebook called Funnel Architects to teach other marketing agencies how to create and use these marketing blueprints.
Over time, the way I used marketing blueprints evolved. Instead of using the diagrams to sell potential clients on an idea, I bagan to use them to communicate every detail of each project to my small, outsourced team. I added notes and layers. Soon, all my team needed in order to create and deliver a new marketing funnel for a client was the blueprint.
Research and planning became the biggest part of every new project so I started charging for it seperately and required it as a preliminary service before I would build anything. Now, creating marketing blueprints is my primary focus. I believe everything turns out better, runs more smoothly and gets done faster when you plan it in detail. That's what I do as a marketing funnel architect.
